How Do I Know If I’m Pregnant?

A late period is usually the first sign of early pregnancy, but there could be a change in your menstrual cycle for other reasons, too. Check to see if you have any of these other pregnancy symptoms

To confirm your pregnancy with a free, lab-quality pregnancy test, contact Birthline. We are here for you.

Why Do I Need An Ultrasound?

After a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound is the next step to pregnancy confirmation and finding out what pregnancy options you’re eligible for. You’ll learn three important aspects about your pregnancy:

  1. The viability (healthy pregnancy with a heartbeat)
  2. How far along you are
  3. The location of your pregnancy (if it’s growing in the uterus)

HOW MUCH WILL MY APPOINTMENT COST?

We do not charge for any of our services, so your appointment will cost you nothing.

HOW SOON CAN I TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST?

We recommend you take a test 2 or 3 days after your missed period or no sooner than10 days after you think you may have gotten pregnant.  This amount of time should give your body enough time to build up a detectable amount of the hCG hormone.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?

Yes, you are more than welcome to have someone present at your appointment. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible.

IS ABORTION MY ONLY OPTION?

No, you have three options. We are happy to sit down and review all of the options with you.

When you know you have options, you don’t feel so trapped.
