Although pregnancy and parenting can be challenging, many women experience joy in being a mom. We can help make parenting a realistic option — in fact, you might be surprised at all of the support and resources available to you at Birthline.
HOW CAN I POSSIBLY PARENT?
We know an unplanned pregnancy can bring up fear, confusion, and many questions and concerns. At Birthline, we can help answer those questions.
You may not have planned to become a mother at this point in your life, but this doesn’t mean you’re not capable of being a wonderful and loving parent. It’s a big responsibility, but it can also be incredibly rewarding — and we are here to help you prepare for successful parenting.
CONCERNS ABOUT PARENTING
Maybe you’re in school, or you are single, or you work full-time, or you just don’t feel like you have the support you need to parent a child. Whatever your situation, it’s important to get the answers to questions like these:
- What if my partner doesn’t support me?
- How will I financially provide for my child?
- Can I still finish school?
- Where will I live?
- What if I don’t have insurance?
- Can I give my child the emotional and physical support they need?
These questions and concerns are important. If you are considering parenting your child, we want to explore these questions with you and show you the many resources that are available to you — and where to find them. We are here to help you find the support you need as you move toward parenthood. You are not alone.
WE CAN HELP
If you choose to parent your child, the team at Birthline will be there every step of the way. We offer education, professional counseling, resources, and support right here at our Center. We can also give you referrals to other programs for medical needs, financial support, and more.
At Birthline, we also offer free maternity clothing; diapers; formula; baby and children’s clothing; baby gear; and more. Again, everything is entirely free of charge. We believe the last thing you should have to worry about is paying for formula, diapers or clothing.
